The technique of silhouetting can be used to add glamour and intensity to many everyday photographs like still lifes, vacation pictures and even family photographs. the silhouette can be described as a well-defined, black shape that stands out against a brightly lit, uncomplicated background. A silhouette is a solid, dark image of a subject against a brighter background. Silhouette pictures usually show the subject in profile. what I got out of reading it was that the silhouette photographer is about a subject that is dark but doing something and it tells a story in different pictures.
